Android-based tablets such as Samsung, Google Chromebooks, and Microsoft Surface with Windows RT are not supported for use with LockDown Browser. You cannot use LockDown Browser on a cell phone. Your anti-virus software must allow the install of LockDown Browser to successfully install this feature.
LockDown Browser is installed on the campus library computers!
Your Instructor will provide you with the link to download the Respondus LockDown Browser if he/she plans to have you use it to take your quizzes.
- Click on the quiz title and click on "Take the Quiz" button to get to the download link.
- Navigate to your download folder on your pc and right click on the LockDown Browser executable file and select "Run as Administrator" to complete the installation process.
- A LockDown Browser icon will then appear on your desktop. For MAC users, LockDown Browser will be located under applications. Close all applications and double-click the icon and log in to Canvas, navigate to your quiz and take the quiz.
