The book describes many different types of stress. For college students there can be an overwhelming amount of stress. Stress of paying tuition, buying books, managing a job around classes, or even trying to maintain a personal relationship while going to school can all be very stressful. Pick a particular stress that may relate to you and discuss ways you help yourself cope with it (you don't need to get too personal). Respond to 2 peers as well.
GRADING: (Total 10 points) YOUR initial response to the DISCUSSION question should be done 3 days before the deadline, this will allow others to respond and comment to your discussion. Waiting until the last day could result in loss of points.
5 points - For your initial posting answering the discussion topic. THIS TOPIC is the chapter reading! Should be a solid write up (10-12 min sentences). 150-200 words.
You need a college level write up to the question, use the book if needed, you should be familiar with the chapter. DON"T type i for I, this is a college course not a text. Don't wait until the last day, get your discussion on the topic in 3 days prior to deadline.
5 points - Respond to 2 other students in the discussion. You need a solid response, using material from the book or experience, responses should be 4-7 sentences ( a complete paragraph ). Again don't type i for I.
NOTE: The discussion question refers to chapter material. Read the chapter before you participate in the discussion. You must give a thoughtful and educated response(that shows you understand the chapter material) to get credit. Students LOSE points because they write too little!!!
