Seeking Students for a Unique Mentoring Program

This SCCT (Social Cognitive Career Theory) informed Mentoring Program is designed for students and alumni students who identify as underrepresented in their field of study and career. The goal is to help our mentee students develop professional connections, explore career pathways, improve their portfolio, and build social capital. Students will have the opportunity to co-design their mentoring experience and learn how to foster valuable mentoring relationships centered on shared values. The Fall mentoring program will meet remotely for 90 minutes once per week over five weeks, via platforms such as Zoom and the online mentoring platform Epixego.com.

Program participation includes:

An eight-hour commitment to participate in the program over five weeks

Week 1: Tuesday 8/29 4:00 to 5:30 pm

Week 2: Tuesday 9/05 4:00 to 5:30 pm

Week 3: Tuesday 9/12 4:00 to 5:30 pm

Week 4: Tuesday 9/19 4:00 to 5:30 pm

Week 5: Tuesday 9/26 4:00 to 5:30 pm

Requires filling out a survey at the start and at completion of the program
Participants receive a Mentoring Fellowship Award and title to add to your resume/CV
$25 participation gift card upon completion
