Canvas Student Orientation Schedule. The Academic Success Center will host four in-person Canvas student orientations entitled "How to Succeed in Your Online Class" in the Spring 2017 semester. Getting Started in Your SCC Canvas Online Course. Type https://solano.instructure.com into your browser’s address bar. Login with your MySolano username and MySolano password. To login and return to your course at any time, you can bookmark the link, save it to favorites, create a shortcut on your desktop, or type the address into your browser's address bar.

Resources for your Online Education. Click on the link Canvas Orientation and view all the pages listed under each module. This orientation is designed to familiarize you with Canvas and help you get started in your SCC Canvas course. Next, review Tips for Success and Canvas Demo. The link for each of these orientations is provided at the upper left of this page.

Canvas Help Resources. All Canvas help requests should be submitted to the Distance Education Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get help by submitting a request to de@solano.edu. Call the Distance Education office at (707) 864-7133, or stop by for help as well. The Distance Education office is located on the main campus in Bldg. 500, Rm. 523.

To get help from Canvas directly, call them Monday through Friday between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. or any time during the weekends. The Canvas phone number can be located under Help at the bottom left corner in Canvas.
